city of around 30,000 people living in foothills of the Arkansas Ozark
Mountains. Extensive hardwood forests (primarily
Oak/Hickory) weave through the neighborhoods as "common ground",
providing space and privacy to homeowners as well as shelter to large
populations of wild deer, squirrels, birds, and other native species.
A drive around Bella Vista displays the careful consideration the
natural environment and geography has been given in the planning and
implementation of this lovely community in Northwest Arkansas.

City Government - Visit the Bella Vista Property Owner's Association's (POA) Newly Designed Website - It's well worth the visit! www.bellavistapoa.com Bella Vista has a
rich history, albeit a short one, as it began as a vacation resort
area in the early 1900s (rather like the resort featured in the movie
"Dirty Dancing). You can learn more about our history from the
early years to the present by clicking
here. In the early 1960's
visionary John Cooper Sr. of Cooper Communities Inc, saw it's
potential as a planned residential destination for thousands of new
residents seeking an active retirement lifestyle and began creating
Bella Vista Village. Today, Bella Vista, though still a popular destination for retirees, it's also become a bedroom community for those who work in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville or Southwest Missouri. We've very little commercial ventures of our own, but we do have safe neighborhoods, natural beauty and wildlife, large treed lots, hundreds of acres of wooded common ground, some of the best and most numerous amenities of any city in the United States and wonderful friendly people. Families who work in Northwest Arkansas are finding that Bella Vista is a fun, safe place to raise their families. *

BELLA VISTA PROPERTY OWNER ASSOCIATION ASSESSMENTS & FEES Living in Bella Vista does come at a price, however, with all Bella Vista has to offer in terms of recreation, thousands have found the price well worth it! Monthly assessment dues are 16.00/mo on unimproved lots and 37.00/mo on improved lots (lots with water meter's set). These assessment costs help to maintain Bella Vista parks and lakes, club houses, golf courses, community programs and other amenties. These assement costs will not go up without approval of the property owners, or a court order. I'm sure you'll find these fees among the lowest in the country with more amenities then most Home and Property Owner Associations. In addition
to monthly assessment costs, there are membership and guest fees
for golfing, tennis, boating and clubhouse facilities to further
help support the various venues offered in Bella Vista
village. Assement costs are so low that some fees are necessary
to maintain the amenties at quality levels. For more information about Bella Vista Rules and Regs visit the Property Owner's Website at www.bellavistapoa.com
